Key Challenge Partner

Our partners want to provide experiential knowledge and documentation in the event of a malfunction so that downtimes can be resolved quickly, even without an expert on site. In the event of a malfunction, fast action is required, but often neither experiential knowledge nor the right documentation or guidance is directly available. If no expert is then on site, downtimes and failures extend, which is directly linked to increased costs, delivery delays, and an associated reputational risk. This applies to your own production as well as to the customer, where service technicians cannot be everywhere at once.

The industry is at a crossroads. Are you the one with the solution?

Final Blueprint

Maintenance support: A multi-stage escalation model shifts the threshold at which deep expert knowledge is needed on site. First, software guides users directly at the machine through maintenance or troubleshooting; if that is not enough, remote maintenance helps further, for example via AR glasses; and only as a last resort is an expert needed on site. The goal is to get the machine back into the production cycle as quickly as possible. The more cases are resolved at lower levels, the shorter the downtimes and costs, and the lower the dependence on individual experts.

Use at the customer: The solution is designed for your own service technicians and for use at customers, including the training of customer technicians. This enables fast troubleshooting, regardless of who is currently on site.

Industry Bottlenecks

Industry Bottlenecks

Experiential knowledge in machine operation is specialized and complex.

Even documented knowledge such as manuals and specifications is often not intuitively findable in everyday work.

Skills shortages and turnover intensify the loss of knowledge when experienced employees leave.

Long training times lead to avoidable errors and quality fluctuations, while pressure for higher quality from customers increases.

Training often depends on the availability of individual experienced employees.

Existing checklists or intranet documentation barely capture implicit experiential knowledge or guidance directly at the machine.
